Scott McKeon

Founder & CEO

Our founder, Scott McKeon, spent the majority of his 25-year career in commercial real estate and property management. He understands just how critical customer service is and how frustrating it can be for property managers to have customer complaints about pest issues despite making monthly payments to pest control providers who are only as good as the technician assigned to service their particular property.

Education:

Fully licensed with the California Structural Pest Control Board Field Representative Branch 2.

Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development - University of Southern California.

Master’s Degree in Business Administration - University of Southern California.

- Served as top executive for two Southern California technology companies, helping to grow both businesses through advanced technologies and superior customer service.
- Served as regional operations manager, revenue manager, and development manager for Shea Properties and was responsible for portfolio profit & loss of seven apartment assets with annual revenue of $57mm and total valuation nearing $800mm.
- Served as asset manager, acquisitions analyst, and investor relations manager for Apple Hospitality REIT and was responsible for portfolio profit & loss and capex project management of 15 Marriott-branded hotels valued at over $280mm.
- Won the NAIOP SoCal USC / UCLA Real Estate Challenge in 2006.
- Expert Panelist for AFP Annual Expo with Wells Fargo as Moderator: “Why Banks Engage (or should) with Fintech”.
- Expert Panelist for 2 years at the RealPage User Conference sharing our unique approach to revenue management.
- Created a new syllabus for the USC MRED Apartment Development course and assisted the adjunct professor for 5 years.
- Owned and operated a student housing business while serving as student-body president at Southern Virginia University; earned the Gibson Entrepreneurial Scholarship.
- Earned a master’s degree in real estate development and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.
- Currently serves as a member of the board of trustees and as president of the alumni association for Southern Virginia University.
